A Day in the Life of a Sister Missionary

4/13/2014

Well. This week was probably the week that had the most stark differences between good and bad if that makes any sense at all. Things were BAD at the beginning of the week, and then I kid you not- after a couple days things just started going amazing!

Let me tell ya

YUU chan is doing amazingly. We really wanted her to come to conference, but she couldn't on Saturday, and on Sunday she was supposed to visit a grave. But, she did tell us that if it rained she wouldn't be able to visit the grave and that she would come to conference! hahaha. So. We were confident Heavenly Father wanted her to go to conference, and we prayed for the rain. And the rain came tumbling down :) She came! And she came with a question, and afterwards she told us her question was answered, and that she received a lot of direction. We talked to her about baptism again, and she told us her honest feelings, and the situation (she had been pretty vague about the situation before). But now we have a baptismal date for her 20th birthday next year (in japan you are legally an adult at 20) and she is sticking to it! She really wants to be baptized, her Mom is against it- but she told her she can do whatever she wants when she is 20. The best part is, is that Yuu chan is leaving in a couple months to go to California for school, so GUESS who will be able to go to her baptism on April 16th 2015??? ME! I cant wait. Those sister missionaries in Los Banos California are so lucky. She is a sweetheart. I hope the language doesn't prove to be a problem at all. Oh and he favorite talk at conference was Christoffersons. She loved it.

There were tons of miracles with conference, and investigators and less active members coming, which will just have to be saved for another day I suppose! But Yuu chan is Amazing.

Anyways,
